The earliest EDMONDS that I have found in Kempsford is Lawrence bn.1675, who married
(1) Mary Godwin from Kempsford at Inglesham in 1699, baptised 5 children including Edward at Kempsford in 1704,
(2) Eleanor James from Cricklade at Eisey in 1710, baptised 9 children most at Cricklade.

Another Lawrence married Sarah Eldridge at Kempsford in 1709, and baptised sons there in 1711 & 1714,

but I can't see any connection with the above Whelford EDMONDS a hundred years later.
